Minors offered : Health Economics and Data Analytics
A pass in 10+2 / H.Sc or its equivalent examination in the first attempt with aggregate marks of 60% for General Category, 55% for OBC and 50% for SC/ST/PWD Category.
Candidates should not exceed 21 years as on 1st July of the year of admission, however a relaxation of 5 years is permitted for differently abled candidates. SC/ST / OBC and women candidates may be allowed the age relaxation of 3 years beyond 21 years.
Admissions will be made for B.Sc. Economics - Hons. with Research Programme on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examinations and merit based Counselling will be conducted by the Admission Monitoring Committee (AMC) of VMRF-DU and the eligibility criteria, prescribed by the VMRF-DU from time to time.

VSEP offers Bachelor of Science (Economics) – Honours / Honours with Research.
VSEP has multiple exit options. A student can exit after the 3rd year with a B.Sc (Economics) degree or s/he may exit after the 4th year. B. Sc. – Hons. with Research is a full-time 48 months programme.

Faculty interaction.
As per the UGC guidelines, internship is mandatory and it is also an integral part of the VSEP programme structure. Each one is encouraged to explore options suitable to their future career paths. Required assistance will also be provided to students for internships.
Academic Fee: INR 1,50,000 and Miscellaneous Fee INR 12,500 (INR 7000 Refundable Caution Deposit)
Bank of Baroda and EduVanze. Required assistance will be provided for other banks, as the case may be.

At VSEP B. Sc. – Hons. with Research degree is offered as a Full-time programme only.
VSEP is situated along the scenic stretch of Rajiv Gandhi Salai (Old Mahabalipuram Road), approximately 50 kilometers from the bustling city of Chennai. Surrounded by verdant landscapes and tranquil surroundings, our campus provides an idyllic escape from the bustling city life, much closer to the shore temples of Mahabalipuram.
Vinayaka Mission’s Research Foundation (Deemed to be University) will confer the degree as per the UGC guidelines.
